Joseph George Smith

The day Joe's life tragically came to end was the worse day of my life. I never knew a person could
go on with so much pain. He was the father of 4 and step-father of 2. He had to many grandkids to
count. He loved to work and I really think it meant as much to him as anything in his life. It
gave him great satisfaction to do his job and do it well. He was in construction his whole life and
if he had half the money he made for his employers we would have been rich. He was such a dedicated
employee.

He was a loyal friend to all who needed a friend never asking anything in return. He gave to others
never expecting any thanks and was just always glad he could help out. After his death we quickly
learned just how easy he had made so many things for us in our life during the 22 plus years we were
together. I really feel bad that I don't think he ever realized how important he was to so many
people. He had no idea how his action that Saturday morning as I lay sleeping would affect my life
and so many others.

Soar with the eagles and revel in the freedom you have finally found for yourself. I love you and
will always miss and love you. I am Janet and if someone can truly have a soul mate that would
definitely be what we were to each other.
